Welcome to a New Year for The “Ford Women. We are the only club that has been honored to be able to use the name of an United States President. It was Betty Ford’s years of involvment with the National Federation of Republican Women and her membership in the Kent County Club that Gerry valued the Republican Women’s contribution to The Party. We in turn are proud of his heritage of growing up in Grand Rapids, his love of country that was developed from his loving family, and his strong Midwest background.  We are proud of his place in American History and how he lead us through difficult years of 1970's. This year is the commemoration of his 100 year Birthday and we are looking forward to celebrating, along with the city, his love for his Home Town, the Republican Party, and the Country.

The “Ford Women” is a group of “Liked Minded” conservative women whose mission is the protection of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and our founding documents that are based on Judeo/Christian Principles. We are committed to high ethical standards that are translated into a positive political process for our Goal of the Development of Good Government. The club as a whole and each individual member’s talent, involvement, and strong character will support our ability to accomplish this.

This year, we will have important educational programs, speakers, book club, encourage our members to stay involved and support our local GOP Party, lobbying for good legislation, opportunities for leadership skills within our club, and philanthropic activities to the community.  We hope you will join us to work towards building our “Grand” community and our wonderful country for today and into the future.
